Flies - The Alder Fly

First seen on Friday 7th April 2017 at Croome

Although called a fly, this is another member of the lacewing family (the brown lacewings). They emerge in April and are found near water. They are very common in Croome, usually all around the lake. Very visible when flying, they are like small moths, and will sometimes even land on you!
