Moths - The Blood-vein Moth

First seen on Monday 19th June 2017 at Croome

It's fairly obvious why this one is called Blood-vein, with the red line across the wings and around the edges. Look carefully and you will see the horizontal red line flows continually across the forewing and onto the hind-wing. Isn't nature wonderful! These moths can be found flying (short distances) in the grass and low vegetation. This one was by the river.
