Caterpillars - The Brown-tail Moth

First seen on Sunday 24th September 2017 at Croome

This is the caterpillar of a night flying, white moth (with a brown tail). The caterpillar is one to avoid though, as its bristles can cause an allergic reaction. This was a single one, found by the river on some nettles, but nests can produce hundreds.
