Most of the time you see a buzzard it will be soaring in the sky, often too high up to make out much detail. You will also be able to hear its cry from a great distance. Sometimes, when they have just taken off and still gaining height, you will get a good view such as this one in flight, seen from the path to the Rotunda, just past the bird hide.

The buzzard below, was in the gardens by the main house - it had just finished eating a meal! I've only seen a few rodents at Croome, but they have all been caught by Buzzards or Kestrels (and wouldn't make a good photo...)
