Pigeons and Pheasants - The Collared Dove

First seen on Sunday 9th April 2017 at Croome

The collared dove is not a bird I've seen very often at Croome. Mostly found on the ground but often on aerials and wires. This one was perched on a wire near the visitor centre. They are all-over sandy-grey, but with a distinctive small black collar that gives them their name.
