Bugs - The Common Froghopper

Although these look like beetles, froghoppers are actually a separate species of jumping, plant sucking insects. Most froghoppers are dull brown like these, but vary a lot in shades and patterns. Froghopper nymphs live in masses of froth, which are sometimes called cuckoo-spit. They live in bushes in grassy areas.
