Spiders - The Funnelweb Spider

The Funnelweb Spider shown below has a latin name of Agelena Labyrinthica and is also know as a Labyrinth Spider. They spin large funnel webs low in the vegetation. The female constructs a maze-like chamber of silk tubes where the egg-sacs are. Its this that gives the spider its name. This one was found along the river
