Tits, Nuthatches and Tree Creepers - The Great Tit

First seen on Thursday 18th February 2016 at Croome

The Great Tit is one of our most common back-garden birds. Like the Blue Tit, Great Tits can be found all over the estate, but very easy to see on the bird feeders. Striking black, white, green and yellow plumage make this an easy bird to identify. Their song is a classic 'teacher-teacher' sound, but has many variations. I often hear a strange bird song, and on closer inspection usually find its a Great Tit.
