Beetles - The Flower Longhorn Beetle

First seen on Tuesday 5th June 2018 at Croome

Like many insects, the Longhorn Beetle (Cerambycidae) is not a single species, but a family of many similar species (around 70). They all have slender bodies with long antennae, and mostly live in wooded areas. This one is Stenurella melanura also known as a flower longhorn (which is probably why it is where it is here).
