First seen on Monday 10th September 2018 at Croome

The Mason Wasp is a solitary wasp, and builds its nest in mud and clay. They store their food there (grubs and caterpillars) which they paralyse with a sting. There are over 20 species of mason or potter wasps, which are all very similar!
