Spiders - The Money Spider

First seen on Saturday 14th April 2018 at Croome

The 'Money Spider' is actually a whole family of spiders (called Linyphiidae). There are over 250 species, all very small (just a few millimetres). They build a small web, and sit on the underside. They occur in all sorts of habitats, so you could see one just about anywhere. They get their name from a superstition suggesting finding one on you will bring good fortune.
