Flies - The Noon Fly

This fly actually has a much more pleasant name than most. Called the Noon Fly simply because is can be seen basking in the sun at noon, like the one in the photo below. Easy to identify, as it is jet black, with a vivid orange face, feet and on the base of its wings.
