Beetles - The Pea Weevil

First seen on Saturday 14th April 2018 at Croome

The Pea Weevil is quite small, just a few millimetres long. It can be identified by its stripy body and large eyes, although being a dull brow, it can blend in with the background. Large numbers of these were found on the wooden fences around tree in the meadow (in April). As the name suggests, they are commonly found on pea plants.
