Pheasants can often be heard calling in the distance. You may see them in the surrounding farmland, or in the woods. This one was found picking up scraps under the bird feeders.

They can also be seen in the car park or even the ornamental lawns (on a quiet day). The one below was loitering around near the main road down to the house.
