Larks, Pipits and Wagtails - The Pied Wagtail

First seen on Saturday 4th February 2017 at Croome

Another bird that is faithful to the same spots, pied wagtails can usually be found where there are people, for example they are commonly found in supermarket car parks. At Croome you will often see them around the main house, the reception buildings, the farm, the Rotunda and at the Temple Greenhouse.

These two photographs were taken at the Temple Greenhouse - there is nearly always a pied wagtail there, especially when the cafe is open. Pied Wagtails are all over black, white and grey (although a Grey Wagtail is very different.
