Spiders - The Sac Spider

First seen on Tuesday 5th June 2018 at Croome

Sac Spiders (Clubionidae) are a family of around 25 species. Many are very similar and I'm not sure exactly which one this is. They are all very plain, grey brown in colour, but quite a few (like this one) have very dark chelicerae (a pair of appendages in front of the mouth, usually modified as pincer-like claws). They tend to be nocturnal hunters.
