Bugs - The Sloe Shieldbug

The Sloe Shield Bug is very similar to the Green Shield Bug and the Dock Bug, just over a centimetre long. The main difference is the colour. The Sloe Shield Bug mainly purple, with black and white edging. It has a hairy underside, and is also known as the Hairy Shield Bug. it feeds on the flowers and fruits of various plants, plus of course the Sloe bush.
