Bugs - The Sloe Shieldbug

The Sloe Shield Bug is very similar to the Green Shield Bug and the Dock Bug. The main difference is the colour. The Sloe Shield Bug is tinged with purple, has a hairy underside, and is just over a centimetre long. it feeds on the flowers and fruits of various plants, plus of course the Sloe bush.
