Marine Life - The Moon Jellyfish

First seen on Friday 12th July 2019 at Culzean Castle

You will often see Jellyfish washed up on a shore. It's a good time to get a close look, but a bit sad as they are probably dead. This one is called a Moon Jellyfish and is identified by the four purple circles. The Moon Jellyfish is the most common of the UK's jellyfish, and can be seen all year round. They feed on plankton.
