Moths - The Hummingbird Hawk-moth

First seen on Wednesday 20th August 2014 at Dyrham Park

The Hummingbird Hawk-moth is aptly named, as it hovers just like a hummingbird, feeding while in flight. Obviously, this makes photography somewhat tricky. Like many butterflies, they are quite fond of Buddleia, so that is usually a good place to look for them. This one was in the formal garden at Dyrham Park.
