Often referred to by its Latin name Corizus Hyoscyami, I prefer Cinnamon Bug, as its much easier to remember! It has distinctive black and orange (cinnamon) markings which look a bit like a symmetric ink-blot pattern. It is found on a range of plants, and this one was alongside the river.
