Bumblebees - The Red-tailed Bumblebee

First seen on Sunday 5th June 2022 at Gibside

Quite common in most places with flowers, this bumblebee has another apt name. The females (below) are all over black, with just a red tip to its tail. Males are quite different to the females, as well as the red tail, they have yellow fur around their shoulders and face.
