Tits, Nuthatches and Tree Creepers - The Bearded Reedling

First seen on Thursday 9th January 2014 at RSPB Leighton Moss

The Bearded Reedling is alternately called the Breaded Tit. However it is not a member or the tit family, but more closely related to Larks. It feeds on insects and Reed seeds. The two below are female and male, the male having the 'moustache' (not beard, another misnomer). These were photographed in RSPB Leighton Moss.
