Marine Life - The Grey Top Shell

First seen on Tuesday 18th May 2021 at Holy Island

The Grey Top Shell is an oddly named sea snail. The name describes the shell, which (as with most snails) is the best form of ID. The shell is bluntly conical and grey to light yellowish in colour, with wobbly stripes of reddish-brown to purple. Unlike the land equivalents, sea slugs and snails tend to have appendages.
