Yes, this is a very poor photo of a very distant Peregrine Falcon which was hunting on the sandbanks south of the castle. Peregrines are large, powerful and very fast. They hunt pigeons, wading birds and small ducks, so there is plenty of food on the Lindisfarne. However, they are not very common on Holy Island.
