Moths - The Straw Grass-veneer

The Straw Grass-veneer (Agriphila straminella) is very similar to the slightly larger Garden Grass-veneer moth but is even more plain. Straw coloured (hence the name) it does have nice pale blue eyes. These are the tiny moths you see flying in meadows which land and completely disappear. They are part of a larger family of grass moths. The Straw Grass-veneer is around 1cm long
