Pigeons and Pheasants - The Black Grouse

First seen on Thursday 19th April 2018 at North Wales

Black Grouse are scarce and found in remote upland areas of north Wales, North England and Scotland. Males are shiny blue-black with a red "wattle" over their eyes. When displaying (Lekking) they fan their tail showing a large white cushion. Females are a paler orange-brown.
