Ducks, Grebes and Coots - The Ruddy Duck

First seen on Monday 18th October 2010 at Chew Valley Lake

The Ruddy Duck was one of our most distinctive ducks, having copper coloured plumage, black and white head and a fantastic blue bill. Sadly they have been eradicated and no longer in the UK. I last saw one in 2012.
