Damselflies are the tiny little dragonflies, and are usually found close to water.

Having an abundance of water, Croome is a good place to see damselflies in the summer. You will see lots buzzing around very close to where you walk along the meadow paths near the river. The water and reeds under the three ornate bridges over the lake are also a good place to look, especially the wooden bridge
