Dragonflies of Croome

Wherever you get a pond, you will usually get dragonflies. As well as flying up and down patrolling their territory, they can often be spotted perched on water-plants. However, I've also seen them on bushes, woods, and even in the meadows and lawns. They can often be seen sunning themselves on paths.

Surprisingly, dragonflies can actually turn up just about anywhere at Croome. The best places are obviously near water, either around the lake, or along the river. The edges of the lake near the grotto is a good place to see them patrolling, as is the southern end of the river, where there is a large pond by the Carriage Splash.
