Flies - The Knapweed Gall-Fly

The scientific name for this Knapweed Gall-Fly is Urophora quadrifasciata, the 'quad' referring to the four bands on its wings. As the name suggests, this fly produces galls in Knapweed flowers. Normally found in southern England.
