Thrushes and Chats - The Siberian Stonechat

First seen on Thursday 2nd October 2025 at Durham Coast

The Siberian (or Eastern) Stonechat is quite similar to our own Stonechat, but has washed out colours and the base of the tail is pale and un-patterned. This is a juvenile, the differences in the adults are easier to see. This one was found at Hawthorn Dene, part of the Durham Coast.
