The scientific name for this bug is Grypocoris Stysi. It is a member of the Miridae family, which are known as Mirid Bugs, Plant Bugs, Leaf Bugs, Grass Bugs etc. There are over 10,000 species in this family. This one is easily distinguished by the checkered pattern of pale yellow orange and black. It is usually found on nettles near woodland and feeds on flower heads and aphids.
