Waders - The Little Stint

First seen on Sunday 23rd August 2020 at Druridge Pools

The Little Stint as its name suggests is a small wader, less than six inches in length. You can see its size compared with the Canada Geese. It has a short, straight bill, black legs and white underside. It is quite speedy, and tends to dash around more quickly than the Dunlins it's often seen with. This one was on the pools at Druridge Bay.
