Auks - The Puffin

First seen on Tuesday 14th July 2020 at Druridge Pools

Puffins are one of the UK's most recognisable birds. They breed in several places on the north-east cost. These were in Druridge Bay and probably came from nearby Coquet Island. They can be seen flying over the sea or sitting in groups. Unfortunately they are usually quite a way out to sea and you'll need binoculars to see them.
