Thrushes and Chats - The Robin

The robin is the classic garden bird. You will see them at most National Trust estates. You will also hear them singing close by you. They are very people friendly and especially like hanging around near restaurants - they are good scavengers. Juvenile Robins are quite spotty, and lack the red breast. Adult Male and female Robins are both alike, so you can never be sure which one you are looking at, However, in the photo below it is quite likely this is a male giving the female some food - pair bonding...
