Molluscs - The White-lipped Snail

First seen on Monday 31st May 2021 at Druridge Pools

This White-lipped Snail hasn't really got white lips, the name refers to the lip of its shell, which is white. This is quite a small snail, the shell is only about a centimetre across. White-lipped snails usually have a yellow/brown shell with up to five bands. The body is usually a pale grey colour. They like nettles, ragwort and hogweed.
