Dippers, Dunnocks, Wrens and Starlings - The Wren

First seen on Thursday 17th September 2020 at Druridge Pools

This tiny bird is more often heard than seen, with its very loud song with a trill at the end. Wrens can be found all over Druridge Links and can often be seen flying very low between bushes, and rummaging around on the ground. When they sing, they often perch on posts - this one was seen in the dunes, in a typical Wren pose.
