Moths - The Chimney Sweeper Moth

First seen on Friday 18th June 2021 at Wallington

The Chimney Sweeper Moth is yet another moth that is very well named. It is sooty black all over, with very fine white lines on the tip of its wings. These two were found (with many others) in the wildflower meadow on the River Walk, close to the road bridge. This is a great area for butterflies and moths.
