Hover-flies - Eristalis Tenax

Eristalis Tenax is also known at the Common Drone Fly and it's a honey bee mimic. It is very similar to the Tapered Drone Fly but this one has dark front legs and thick rear legs. It is common and widespread and found throughout the summer. This one was in the Walled Garden.
