Tits, Nuthatches and Tree Creepers - The Great Tit

First seen on Wednesday 17th July 2019 at Wallington

The Great Tit is one of our most common back-garden birds. Like the Robin, Great Tits can be found all over Wallington. Striking black, white, green and yellow plumage make this an easy bird to identify. Their song is a classic 'teacher-teacher' sound, but has many variations. I often hear a strange sounding bird song, and on closer inspection usually find its a Great Tit.
