Larks, Pipits and Wagtails - The Pied Wagtail

First seen on Wednesday 2nd October 2019 at Wallington

Another bird that is often faithful to the same spots, pied wagtails can usually be found where there are people, for example they are commonly found in supermarket car parks. At Wallington you will often see them around the main house, and the reception buildings.

This photograph was taken at the main house. Pied Wagtails are all over black, white and grey (although a Grey Wagtail is very different). This one clearly has a lemon coloured head, which means it's a juvenile.
