Flies - The Soldier Fly

Soldier Flies (Stratiomyidae) are a large family of flies so named because they resemble the brightly coloured uniforms of soldiers. They have a variety of names such as major, general, colonel, centurion, and legionnaire. This one is a Twin-spot Centurion.
