Flies - The Turnip Sawfly

First seen on Tuesday 17th June 2025 at Druridge Pools

The Turnip Sawfly has a distinctive orange body and legs with a black head and shoulders. They also have a black leading edge to the wings. The adults feed on nectar, the larvae feed on Brassicaceae, including turnips.
