There are three flavours of White-fronted Goose. This one (the European or Russian) is the most commonly seen in the UK. They are very similar to a Greylag Goose, but have a pink bill rather than orange, white flash above their bills and adults have black barring on their belly. They are rarely seen in Northumberland, although the winter of 2024/25 was a particularly good year, and they could be found a reasonable sized flocks up to 30+. 2025/2026 was even better, and flocks well over 100 were regularly seen.
