Beetles - The Four-banded Longhorn Beetle

The Four-banded Longhorn Beetle has a very descriptive name - it has four coloured bands on its wing cases, and has long horns (antenna). Generally active June-August, and typical habitat is woodland. The larvae develop in dead or decaying wood. This one was found on the walk around Tumbleton Lake.
