Tits, Nuthatches and Tree Creepers - The Great Tit

First seen on Tuesday 16th July 2019 at Cragside

The Great Tit is one of our most common back-garden birds. Like the Robin, Great Tits can be found all over the estate. Striking black, white, green and yellow plumage make this an easy bird to identify. Their song is a classic 'teacher-teacher' sound, but has many variations. I often hear a strange sounding bird song, and on closer inspection usually find its a Great Tit.
