Molluscs - The Kentish Snail

First seen on Tuesday 10th August 2021 at Cragside

The Kentish Garden Snail is identified as having a creamy white shell with dark mottling. It normally lives in woodland borders, and hedgerows. This snail was introduced in Roman times in the south-east of England (presumably in Kent) but is spreading north and west.
