Woodlice are land-living crustaceans and have seven pairs of legs. There are many species of Woodlouse, this one is the Common Shiny Woodlouse - grey with yellow blotches. They mostly feed on dead plant material and tend to be more active at night. They prefer damp areas, often found under decaying wood.
