Cormorants are divers, and can spend quite a while underwater hunting for fish. When on the surface they swim quite low in the water. They are similar to Shags, but have a broader bill and more of a swept back forehead. This one was fishing in Druridge Pool, but you are more likely to see them fishing in or flying over the sea at the Bay.
